Cleaning the condenser every six months (Sub-Zero’s own recommendation) and checking the gaskets once a year prevents most breakdowns — that’s exactly what our maintenance visit covers.
What should I do with my Sub-Zero during a storm or power outage?
Keep the doors shut: a closed refrigerator keeps food safe for about 4 hours, a full freezer for about 48 hours (USDA guidance). When power returns, give it a few hours to pull back down before judging.
